Key West: Where it's important to know it's your birthday but not your name....

Can we start with the fact we went in August, during Fred and it was stunning! Constant breeze, sun showers and lots of privacy.
Flights can be booked through Delta or American. We flew RDU > ATL > Key West International.
While Key West is walkable, we rented a golf cart for 6 and were grateful we did once we realized the grocery store was several blocks away.
Where did we lay our heads at night? We wanted privacy from each other and the outside world. So, we chose the Private Compound Little Palm, Cayo Hueso, & Suite. We each had our own cottages complete with full bathrooms, sitting areas and kitchens. If you want a bigger space, Little Palm is the one for you. A grill was included and made freshly grilled seafood and steaks one night. The garden is lush and complete with a plunge pool and waterfall feature. No need to bring sheets, toilet paper or towels....everything is included and the manager, Amanda, is AMAZING!

Looking for craft cocktails, a very knowledgable staff and Kid Rock lookalike? Then General Horseplay is going to be your fave! https://www.generalhorseplay.com
For great music and entertainment, catch Nick Browmell at Smokin' Tuna or Hanks http://hankskeywest.com One night he ended by singing the national anthem, people were standing and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! He's a national treasure and American Patriot.
